“Yoga is when every cell of the body sings the song of the soul.” B.K.S. Iyengar
Mandi initially found Yoga as a way to move her body gently after years of rigorous athletic activity. She quickly discovered how much her soul was in need of Yoga, and in May 2017, she completed her 200 YTT in Bali and became a Registered Yoga Teacher through School Yoga Institute. It was there in Bali where she also received her Reiki Level II Certification by one of her teachers, Kristen ‘Sri Mati’ Hughes. To Mandi, Yoga offers a language to the interconnectedness felt all around us. The physical pra
ctice is a divine metaphor to aid us in the path we all walk in life.
Yoga brings Mandi immense joy, and she is humbled and grateful to share her teachings at Ocean Earth Wind Fire. Mandi encourages her students to be expressive in her classes and explore their bodies lovingly. She aims to be a space holder while students practice and play with breath and movement.
When she is not in a flow, she can be found dancing ecstatically, strolling through the woods, or simply nestled in a local café, either reading or writing with a cup of tea in hand.
